Who doesn't love a sweet sleeping newborn?! His little pink toes and fuzzy head - just adorable! Baby Cole slept the whole session and made my job so easy!

I always tell people that I would have ten more babies if they came out of the womb sleeping through the night and potty trained. Ha! If only!! Those first few months with a new baby can be so hard, but it’s also rewarding and full of lots of love and joy.

This phase of life passes so quickly, often in a blur due to the sleep deprivation and the chaos of adjusting to caring for a new tiny human with lots of needs. Newborn photography captures your baby just as they are in this fleeting phase of life. Babies really don't keep, but thankfully these images will always serve as reminder of this precious newborn phase.

I met Hannah and Trent through a small group right after Kate was born. Kate is now 2, and they have welcomed their second baby.... a son - Samuel! It feels like yesterday that I became friends with Hannah. I remember meeting her for the first time. She was holding Kate, and I just remember thinking how beautiful she was with all her fuzzy dark hair.

Forming REAL friendships can be hard at times, but Hannah makes me feel like we've known each other forever. Thankful for our friendship, and that I've been able to photograph her babies over the past two years.

I loved getting to spend time with Samuel and take some photographs in Hannah and Trent's home. Getting to hold sweet babies curb's my own baby fever! Big sister was not feeling our photo session, so we bribed her with lip gloss, as you can see! Pink is definitely her color! Thankfully, it worked and we were able to get a couple shots with her. :)

Samuel was wrapped in Trent's baby blanket, which I just love! He is cute as he can be, and I cannot wait to watch him grow!
