Photographing a birth is by far my favorite part of my job. There is just nothing like seeing a new little life enter this world and being there for his/her first breath. This sweet momma, Jessica, had to have a C-section with her first and wanted to attempt a v-bac with baby number two. Not only was she successful, but the whole experience was just perfect. Super easy labor and delivery! She did awesome!

Being there to document little brother’s reaction was just the very best. I’ve never seen any sibling his age be so smitten. I also took video of him meeting his sister and oh my heart! I’m so glad I did. I was able to include this in the slideshow, and I know it’s something they will all cherish. I’m always so thankful that I’m trusted to document such special moments in my client’s lives. :)

I so enjoyed getting to meet the Card family and their new addition, baby Caleb. This is their first, and he’s just the prettiest baby boy. He slept our whole session and made my job super easy. Here are my favorites from their session! :)

I always tell people that I would have ten more babies if they came out of the womb sleeping through the night and potty trained. Ha! If only!! Those first few months with a new baby can be so hard, but it’s also rewarding and full of lots of love and joy.

This phase of life passes so quickly, often in a blur due to the sleep deprivation and the chaos of adjusting to caring for a new tiny human with lots of needs. Newborn photography captures your baby just as they are in this fleeting phase of life. Babies really don't keep, but thankfully these images will always serve as reminder of this precious newborn phase.
